Volunteer for Camp Rose Today!

Camp Rose is a Discipleship Intensive opportunity for Pilgrim Rest Students (6th-12th graders) to earn community service hours and acquire leadership and teamwork skills by exceeding their self-imposed limitations through assisting and leading elementary children.

At Camp Rose, the students of Pilgrim Rest and Church of the Incarnation (6th-12th graders) don't work alone. They form a collaborative team with certified DISD teachers, licensed art teachers, and ministers of the gospel. Together, we oversee 100 elementary-age campers, ages 5-10, from schools within the 75204 area code, who rotate through various activities.

Camp Rose's mission is to increase literacy retention for elementary children, Kindergarten through 5th grade, build upon and strengthen community relations, form a foundation for spiritual growth and development, and create a broad range of opportunities to serve, volunteer, and develop student leadership.

Students (6th-12th graders) and adults (kitchen crew) who wish to volunteer for Camp Rose should complete the signup form below.  Parent drop-off is at 9:30 am each morning and parent pick-up is at 3:30 pm.  Contact Pastor Torres at [email protected] if you have transportation, drop-off, or pick-up concerns as arrangements might be available.
